This meal costs roughly the same amount as the last meal we prepared, about the cost of two pizzas. We were able to throw in some of the leftovers and added new ingredients. We now have a large variety of ingredients on hand and prepared to throw into any new dish.
This meal was very easy to prepare with the majority of the work going into the chopping that LittleX generously volunteered to do for us. It was tasted fresh and sweet with a debatable amount of heat from the spice. I had never tried this before but was inspired by the idea of mixing Asian and Mexican ingredients into one dish.
I felt amazing again afterwards, but I do admit I was a tad bit sleepy a little later. The morning after was productive without any stomach complaints. LittleX had a sleepover at a friend’s house and ate pizza and snacks. She came home tired and unhappy. MrX loved the result, woke up with vigor, and is currently doing some work on our roof.
